Christian Scott’s 30+ years working with models all comes down to your session with him. He knows exactly how to make you look experienced and professional in front of the camera no matter what your on-camera experience is. This is not an ordinary photo shoot. No matter your modelling experience, Christian has an uncanny way of getting it out of you every time.
THE PROCESS
When you arrive at Studio Christian Scott we’ll start with a consultation and talk through ideas for the shoot. We’ll go through all the clothing and accessories you’ve brought and start to select specific styles that will slowly build your shoot. Once we have the styling arranged, we’ll get you into hair and makeup. We can change the hair and makeup numerous times throughout the shoot to give us some variety to choose from. Then we’re in and out of the studio for the remainder of the time trying looks and experimenting with ideas. If weather permits, we can head outside for some location shots as well.
Where we really differ from other photographers and studios is that we don’t limit ourselves on the amount of time we spend with you nor will we limit ourselves on the amount of photos we take. Quality is of the utmost importance to us and we don’t believe this is achievable by putting you on a time crunch and rushing you through a shoot. It’s within this relaxed process that we’re able to get imagery that no-one else can. We are meticulous about quality, details, style and aesthetic. It’s no accident that everyone looks polished, professional, and comfortable in all our photography.
Once the shoot is complete, we will arrange a time for you to come back and view your shoot on our computer screen. From there you will choose how ever many photos you’d like to purchase. All photography is sold separately and is inclusive of professional high-end photo retouching to the highest possible standards. We find that structuring our sittings this way gives you as the client full control over how many photos you want and control of what budget you want to stick to. No minimum orders. You can purchase however many fits you needs and budget.
THE PACKAGE
We have put this little package together to include both the photo shoot + 2 retouched photos of your choice.
Here is what our “Premium Music Industry Photo Shoot + 2 Photos” package includes:
1- Your Premium Photo Shoot:
– Styling
– Hair styling

– Unlimited time spent with you
– Unlimited amount of photography taken
2- 2x Professionally Retouched Photos
– When you come back for your viewing appointment you will have 2x professionally retouched photos of your choice included in your package.
3- Basic Graphic Design On 1x Photograph
– We will design an “album cover” for you using one of your chosen photos to use to promote your music.

Additional Photography
There is no obligation to purchase any additional photography. This is set up for your connivance.
We sell our photographs individually as we feel this is a good way to give our clients full control over their budget and what they want/need. Some people get one or two photos and some get twenty or thirty.
Our photograph sizes start at 8×12 inches ( roughly A4 size ) at a cost of $345AUD per image. These are inclusive of professional photo retouching and are provided as high resolution digital files. Other sizes available upon request.
Like we said, there is no obligation to purchase any additional photography. Most models are happy to just start with their photo shoot package and see what we can create together.

IS IT OK THAT I’VE NEVER DONE A SHOOT BEFORE?
Yes. If you’ve never done a photo shoot before, we understand that this process can seem a little intimidating. Christian Scott has worked with many models from all walks of life. From never-done-a-shoot-before to seasoned pros. Christian has been shooing for over 30 years and has an expertise in training new models and knows exactly how to make you look your best. When you arrive at the studio we take over 100%. We don’t expect you to know anything about modelling. We will be telling you what to do the entire time you’re with us.

HOW LONG DOES THE SHOOT TAKE?
Unlike other photographers, we won’t be limiting our time with you or limit the amount of photos we take together. Our objective isn’t to get you in and out of the studio as fast as possible but to create imagery of yourself that’ll blow everyone’s mind. We believe it’s extremely important not to rush a folio shoot to make sure you look as professional and relaxed in front of the camera you possibly can. If you’re able to dedicate at least 4-5 hours for the shoot, that would be good. I always suggest booking a shoot on a day when you have no solid plans afterwards in case we’re on a roll and want to continue shooting.
I DON’T FEEL LIKE I’M READY TO SHOOT
A lot of people want a shoot but fall into the trap of saying “I’ll book the shoot when I think I’m ready”. 30 years in the industry and we say that does not work. Turn that thinking around. Book the shoot first and work hard towards it. Don’t over think it. Don’t first attempt to work hard on your physique then contact us when you think you’re “ready”. Why? Because you’ll never feel completely “ready”. There is something psychological about having a booked date to work towards that is an incredible motivator. To this day we still get emails and messages from people 7+ years after their initial contact saying they still want to do a shoot but they’re still not quite ready yet. Their hesitance to bite the bullet and make their shoot appointment has cost them the opportunity to create some memorable imagery.
We’re far from new to this profession and know what we’re doing. This isn’t real life. There are so many elements to a shoot put in place to protect you. Face and body Makeup. Hair styling. Expert lighting. Master photography. And of course, the added protection of professional high-end retouching. You don’t need to look like a professional model to get exceptional results in our studio.
1— Calculate how long you need to be ready. A week? A month? 6 weeks?
2— BOOK THE DATE.
3— Now that your shoot date is booked, do your best to work towards it. When you arrive at the studio, you can completely let go as we will take full control.
Some clients are ready to go right away and some may need a little time to get ready and to tone up depending on what type of photography they’re after. When you book in for your shoot we’ll be sending you information on how to prepare and what to bring. Let us know if you have concerns and we can chat about it.

Absolutely. Studio Christian Scott has been in business for 30 years and we use the safety of PayPal and credit card payments. We also accept PayID and direct deposit.
